SALTWATER DISPOSAL: Rapid Growth Industry
Responding to an ever-growing industry and increased horizontal drilling, Sallaway Engineering Contractors started taking contracts and consulting in areas of saltwater disposal in early 2011. The trend was in motion for small to mid-sized oil producing companies to look to outside contractors to dispose of saltwater and it fell to a few specialized companies to start designing ways to assist these companies. While large oil companies could build and maintain their own saltwater disposal operations the smaller guys needed a way to compete. Sallaway Engineering Contractors SWD was one of the first construction companies to design and build fully independent facilities to offload saltwater and take on fresh water. These plants, outfitted in state-of-the-art technology and modern amenities like Drivers' lounges and WiFi are now purpose-built to for a variety of clients.
